"Hike in fees????!!!!!! We will show ya!!!!!"

"Hike in fees? we'll show ya!" parents and guardians of some convent schools in Siliguri have lodged a lot of complaints regarding the recent hike in the school fees. The Chhatra Parishad had declared a strike on Friday. It is still not understood if Monday will be school. They have left every student panic-stricken. A meeting had been held among the heads of Don Bosco, SJS Matigara, Jermel's Academy and Nirmala Convent School. But it had failed. So was the cause for the strike to be called for an indefinite number of days. The "Protestant" movement put up by the guardians shall not go fruitless; I think so......Let's wait and see.......

  2. the government is helpless by the way; it has to look after "Social Welfare". After all, it has been mentioned in the so-called "Constitution". The schools are the culprits; hiking fees by an exorbitant amount. Some confrontation was desperately needed and so is its result.

  3. oh no sweetheart, they want all the private schools to be government schools,so that they can control the teachers' employment....you know let in inefficient teachers.so they don't pay the DA any more, but the salaries of the teachers can't be lowered down,so there has to be a hike, innit?Quintessentially,Indian govt.
    sad but true.
